How it started

Candace Boamah started pouring candles in her kitchen — not as a business plan, but as a ritual. After years of burning through candles that smelled beautiful in the store and faded within an hour at home, she decided to figure out why.

The answer was in the wax. Most mass-market candles use paraffin — cheap, consistent, and not particularly kind to the air you breathe. Candace switched to coconut apricot wax: a natural blend that burns cleaner, holds fragrance longer, and has a creamy, luxurious texture that feels intentional from the moment you light it.

She paired it with wooden wicks for the soft crackle that turns a quiet room into something that feels lived-in. Then she let every candle cure for 14 days before it left her hands — because patience is part of the craft.
